An old factory building has been converted into a multifunctional space, including a (music) café. It is part of a factory complex, which has been given a relocation as a centre for music, art and culture.  Due to the presence of many steel, concrete and glass, there are a lot of surfaces where the sound is reflected, which caused acoustical problems. In addition, various productions are organised in this centre; classical, jazz, DJs and theatrical performances. They all ask for their own specific acoustic facilities. To provide a flexible approach to this, the entrance now has long walls with Texacoustic ® curtains, in a special olive colour that was already present in the concrete structure of the building. The stage is also dressed with Texacoustic ® black cloths that can be hung as a pleated curtain or flat as a panel. Through these adjustments, the sound experience in the centre has now improved significantly.
